Land Resilience Partnership
Ventura River Watershed
We will transform your lawn, design a new garden with you, and build it for FREE.
Funding is limited.
Join the Land Resilience Partnership and we’ll let you know if you qualify as well as keep you posted for future funding opportunities!
Are you prepared for Drought? Fire? Flood? Heat?
New funding is available for frontline communities disproportionally impacted by climate change.
You can qualify if:
Your property has more than 350 square feet of lawn, which has been irrigated since 2021.
AND
Your income falls below the median for Ventura County.
OR
Your property is stewarded or owned by a tribal member.
In California, we recognize that water challenges impact all communities, but not equally. Replacing lawns with drought tolerant landscaping helps build climate resilience, but can be expensive for frontline communities who are increasingly vulnerable to climate-change impacts.
As an innovative approach that prioritizes equity, the Lanscape Transformation Pilot Program will directly help California’s frontline communities by providing hands-on assistance to plan and install climate resilient landscapes at no cost to those communities.
